I was going to write "Moon Pie" but those things are disgusting!  They are about half the size that they were in the 80's and taste like cardboard.

If you know what the A&P is and what the letters stand for.....you might be a Yankee.

If you plan on retiring to "Boca" and wearing a velour jogging outfit.....you might be a Yankee.

If you can guess what village/township a vehicle is from by the tint of dried road salt .....you might be a Yankee.

If you would rather "Shop at Meijer's" than "goins to the Walmarts".....you might be a Yankee.

If your kid's Halloween costume is sized to fit over a snowmobile suit.....you might be a Yankee.

and a hundred more that I fail to recall at this moment. ;)

Who took my cheese curd and salt potatoes?????

You mean "The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company?

I guess I have to give up some of my 61% Dixie...

Hey fun quiz!  Thanks for posting it.  I've never seen a lobster in a creek bed, but I've heard of crawfish from television.

"29% Dixie. You are a dandy Yankee Doodle."

Have you heard this from E. B. White?:

To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner.
To Northerners, a Yankee is an Easterner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast.

I am borrowing this for future Yankee reference. :)

100% Southern even though I'm gone 40 years.

And that's R-O-C CoCola and a Moon Pie. For the more sophisticated there's always a Bama Pecan (Pee-con) Pie
