What is naturally the most radioactive food?
No it is not "No Salt". Answer in about a week if not answered.
-
Gonna make a guess and say Brazil Nuts.......

That took all of ten minutes. Good job.

Thanks, believe it or not I actually remembered that one from college LOL.

No salt is potassium chloride and has a specific activity of 433 pCi/gm. The data is consistent with my results of sampling it with the ISOCS machine. Brazil nuts are 2 pCi/gm of Ra-226 and 228.

So if brazil nuts dont come from brazil they are radium seekers? I think they are being grown in Calif now as well as some African countries.

Sylvite is found in many evaporite deposits worldwide. Massive bedded deposits occur in New Mexico and western Texas, and in Utah in the US, but the largest world source is in Saskatchewan, Canada. The vast deposits in Saskatchewan, Canada were formed by the evaporation of a Devonian seaway. Sylvite is the official mineral of Saskatchewan. (KCl)
Its not what you know, its how you google. (im gonna copyright that phrase)

I stand corrected, but KCl only makes up about a third of Lo-Salt substitutes as KCl although salty is more bitter than NCl and is an additive not a food. Yeah its nitpicking but I did set up the question that way.

I use 100% KCl, with some anti caking stuff. Its ok after a while. Mast eaters are pretty high in Cs and Sr. We could always tell the hunters on the entry body count.

Mast eaters?

acorns etc

Nice tie in for salt and nuts ;) .
