Title: S/G Rad Worker Practices
Post by: old_nuke_worker on Sep 29, 2007, 10:15
First off  I've been in the industry a long time.I've trolled this site for a while reading. I've been doing Generators a long time and have seen ,in my opinion, declining rad worker practices in the generator area.
Saying that , I think credit or at least heads up of certain individuals need to be passed on to the parent companies in hopes of having the "seasoned" train the "unseasoned" and to give the techs that are unfamiliar with S/G work a heads up on who they can count on in certain situations . I've worked with certain individuals  for several years from AREVA that are in  ect. that still opt for platform work now and again. I won't mention names but one is a short guy with short hair init. D.R and the other is a average build dark haired guy init A.S ( those generator techs that have worked with them know whom I'm talking about) . Just a thought and would like any other experiences other techs have had with good platform workers for a heads up.(no names )
