Title: Question for fellow shiftworker
Post by: mmanchester on Jan 18, 2008, 03:32
Hey All,
I'm looking for some help on a shift work policy that the company I work for is trying to change.  Specifically I'm interesting in talking to other shift workers in other industries (I'm in the aerospace field) about how their shifts are handled, and I figured that anyone that works with "Nukes" should be quite knowledgable on shiftwork.  If you think you could give a few minutes of your time and answer some questions about how your company handles shift work, I would greatly appreciate it.  Please email me if you're interested.  Thanks.

I've been doing the nuke scene for 20+ years and have been a shift worker for probably 12 ~ 15 of it. Mostly the twelve hour variety.  PM with your questions and I'll give you an honest shot.

Peace.
