Title: AUDIT =(
Post by: azirtak on Oct 15, 2012, 06:23
Getting audited almost 10,000 for 2010.  Our tax guy had wrote off almost 4500 for travel expenses and 4500 for car and truck expenses.

My question is... what can you write off in those categories?  I worked in a different state than where my permanent residence is.  Its less than 12 months that I worked there and had to obviously drive my truck out of state. I'm guessing my tax guy wrote off my mileage to get to another state and start working there.

Any suggestions on getting me out of my dilemma?
