I've still got a CD V-700 laying around the house somewhere...I'd be happy to paint it camo for you for WAY less than 185 Pounds!  ;)

If I had to use either of these, I'd stick with the CD V-700, because it's tried and true technology...but pretty sure neither is worth what that website is asking...

What would you be using it for?

ShrubbySoup, we need some more information on what you are looking for to help you!

Cammo CD V-700(http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8226/8390946433_eb3ef02a4f_t.jpg)                      GQ GMC-300 (http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8514/8392030512_d94eb3eb22_t.jpg)

The cammo CD V-700  may be quite nice to put in your library and support your nuclear engineering books (depending on your home decoration style, if your wife is pacifist it may not be a good idea)

The GQ GMC-300 Pocket Geiger Counter , on the other side will allow you to play a little bit with it and your computer, but you will need some radioactive material or it may be of little interest. You can get some very cheap alpha emitters here:

I have some more or less similar items... and both serve quite well for their function. ;-)

If you want to do something different, please tell us so we can give our opinion.

Regards!
