Title: A couple of interview tips.

1) If asked a question about something you failed at, and to explain why you failed, what you changed in yourself to prevent future failure, don't blame everyone but yourself.

2) If told "Don't be afraid to call in and check on the status," don't reply with "If he wants me then he'll contact me directly or thru HR."

I don't like this advice.  Because I don't want THAT GUY getting/giving the right answer, because he will still be THAT GUY.  Just THAT GUY with a job next to me, with his view that the world is at fault, and not him.
