Not too sure if this is the right place to post this or not. Just wanted to let folks know that I will be shooting a commercial and doing a photo shoot for magazine ads for Yamaha Canada with my motorcycle for an upcoming ad campaign. Know that I only know a few of the folks here in person, but figured what the heck I can announce it to everyone LOL. 8)
Now if I could only figure out how to post pics ;D
-
Awesome and congrats - post a link when the ads hit the web
;D
-
Will do for sure. Now if I could only get them to pay me for the ads LOL.
-
Congrats! I moved your post here to reach more people... here is a link that tells how to upload photos...

Thanks Camella! Will upload a pic or two.

Hopefully I followed directions properly LOL ;D If so I will link a couple here for folks. I will say that filming the commercial and doing the photo shoot was actually pretty hard work. 3hrs spent standing out on the drag strip in full gear, in the sun, and with reflectors focusing light on you can wear a guy down.

I must be doing something totally wrong because I am having zero luck getting pics uploaded..... >:( Going to try this one last thing here......

LOL!! Yeah just what I need, more hp!! Right now it is putting ~165 RwHP and 120 Ft/Lbs torque to the road. It spins the rear tire in the first 2 gears going down the track as it is. Besides NOS is illegal on the road here in Ontario, they seize your vehicle for a week, take your license for a week, and up to $10k in fines. Add that to the insurance bump that you will incur and NOS is a lot less inviting. Am mounting an air shifter for racing which will help on the track.
Will post a couple more pics tonight when I get home. Might even post one of my ugly mug...

Are you running 1/8 or 1/4 mile, and what kind of ET? Bike looks awsome.
-
Am running the 1/4 mile et's in the low 10's. Am shooting for the high 9's eventually. Putting the air shifter on will help with that.
-
Here in SC, at the track I work at, the "BUSAS" are really hauling. Stock with no2 running 150+ and with minor changes and an extended wheel base with no2 or turbo some are 170+. Never get me on 2 wheels at 170 MPH. :D

Slightly off topic...
I went on a ride in Wisconsin - bulled up next to a FLHTCU with a funny little hose coming out of the left bag - NO2 - owner said it was fun on the highway when rice rockets rode next to him - he'd hit the button and surprise them.... 8)

LOL!!! I bet. I have had a couple of Vrod owners get a bit >:( >:( when they tried to race me on occasion. There is a gent local to me that when he sees me coming takes off the opposite way for some reason. Did run a guy on a NightRod that was cool. Beat him by about 5 or 6 bike lengths, stopped and chatted for a while. There are distinct advantages to riding what essentially amounts to a pro-street drag bike on the road LOL.
-
very hot!! oh and the bike too LOL 8)

ummmmmm Thanks :) My girlfriend feels the same way ;D
