Title: Babcock & Wilcox (B&W)
Post by: tat2girl on Oct 15, 2008, 11:24
The facility I work for is being purchased by Babcock and Wilcox and I am looking for any info you may have on what they are like to work for.  We are United Steelworkers here, so any comments from other union members who have worked for B&W would be greatly appreciated.

I used to work at there manufacturing facility in Canada.  The shop is represented by the United Steelworkers.  They have a long history of working with the unions.  Any strikes in Canada were settled within a couple of weeks rather amicably.
