Title: Where to take the EEI Poss/Mass test
Post by: grumpycarnez on Feb 27, 2015, 11:01
I am looking for a college or business (Other than a utility company) to take the Poss/Mass test.  Does anyone know where this test is offered?  I have taken this test thru my employer and they will not give me my results.  The test itself is not difficult.   There is a definite time crunch, but not difficult.  I know I passed this test and am confused with how this whole process works on getting my results!

To the best of my knowledge, the Edison Electric Institute's (EEI) pre-employment tests are only given by employers.

More information can be found here:

This is true.  i called EEI directly and talked to a honcho in charge of testing and she said the only was was to be scheduled through a utility.

I've never heard of anyone getting their actual results. Typically it's either recommended/not recommended or just pass (which I assume means recommended). On the plus side, if you are recommended, but don't get the job, the company can forward your results (they will definitely do it if you're applying elsewhere in the same company).
