   The good old days, line them up send them in just before the end of the quarter and send them through again at the beginning of the next quarter 5(n-18) was the name of the game.  That was for generators though I would think that a containment entry at those doses would not allow more than a couple of seconds of work after dose received in transit. Maybe a lined shielded tunnel to the work site. They could flood the containment and use divers maybe.

What about drilling a hole through the shield blocks and filling the refuel cavity with demin water? The amount of water over the top of the drywell dome might be limited, but there will be A LOT all around it. You would think that amount of water acting as shielding would surly lower the dose rates over the spent fuel pool and the ISFSI cask wash down area. Once full, fly the ISFSI cask out of the top of the Reactor Building via badass crane. That way you don't have to worry about the dose rates coming from containment while craning it down to the Reactor Building truck bay.

They have until 2023. I'm sure that they will setermine the soures of the dose rates and shield, decon, etc. before they start work.

That doserate reminds me of the lower cavity.... bad but not insanely bad.  I don't know the details but a recent lower cavity I went into had a 6.5R/hr at 30cm after decon in the worst spot.  But if those doesrates are right at the entrance then could be much worse depending.  GA was much lower in the cavity obviously until you got near the upender or drain.

Be a safer environment for divers than rescuing a soccer team from caves.
