How come these "critics" never support leveling the playing field and doing away with all subsidies and "peak" energy market pricing? Also, establish a carbon tax which makes natural gas (which is already extremely volatile) not only responsible for their polluting aspects....but more expensive per kilowatt. Overall though, the public really needs to be educated on the "true" costs of wind and solar.

The public doesn't care about facts.  They focus on the fact that a company that had profits in excess of $2 Billion is asking for a bailout, according to them.  We realize and focus on facts, because that's what we do.  It's unfortunate.
