Title: New Lead Moderator
Post by: Rennhack on Feb 01, 2005, 07:25
Nuclear NAASCAR (aka Tom) has become the First Lead Moderator in NukeWorker History.

His loyal service to this website for countless years has proved to be a saving grace to myself and the other moderators alike.  His judgment never waivers, and he has proven invaluable to us all.  He is an amazing man who works many hours on the web site without regard to his personal life. My hat is off to him.

I have named Tom the Lead Moderator.  His new duties include his old duties, with the addition of being the person other Moderators should ask for opinions and guidance.  He also has a few more access privileges.  If someone spots a User name, title, signature, or avatar that is “Not Appropriate”, please let Tom know.  He now has the ability to fix those problems.

Congratulations Tom, you truly deserve it.

I want to thank everyone who keeps this site going.  ;D

I run a racing association with a web site, and I know what a pain in the ___  it can be.
A lot of people have put a lot of time in Nukeworker and it shows.

Hey ya'll,

It was cool telling my Dad last week that I'd gotten a promotion at my "other job."  He asked what it meant and I told him it meant I got a cool flag by my avatar and some more responsibility.  It also means that I still get to work with some of the greatest people in the world.  I just appreciate all the help that I've gotten in the relatively short time I've been here.

I came into the Nukeworker fraternity by what appeared to be an accident 7 years ago.  I must be a glutton for punishment because I really wish I'd done it years before.  This isn't just a job, it's a fraternity.  I'm honored to be a small part of it here but I'm just a small part of it.  Without Mike's help, the guidance of the original Sr. Moderators, and the continuing help of every moderator here I'd just be another hippie asking questions.  I can't say enough how much I appreciate each & every one of you.
