Title: Resume Category Importance.
Post by: Rennhack on Jun 27, 2005, 12:42
What is the importance of "Resume Category"?

This is the single most importance piece of information you provide us, after your email address.  The resume category is used to match your interests with jobs that are posted on the NukeWorker jobsite.  If you pick the wrong category, you will get unwanted emails about professions you are not interested in.  You may choose up to three categories by holding down the [CTRL] key while clicking on the categories you are interested in.

How many resume categories are permitted, 3 or 6?
The pop-up help message indicates you can select up to three categories using the Control key; the resume main page itself indicates you can select up to six.
I've scaled back to 3 to be on the safe side...but if more is allowed, the results would be improved. Thanks for the service.

I'll have to verify it; I think originally we allowed 3, then later increased it to 6. (And forgot to update the text).
