While lying down face up, is the bubble centered? That would make you a level headed guy. Have a speedy recovery.

Radiation Safety / License Possession Limits
« Last post by RSODrew on Yesterday at 02:54 PM »
I have been an RSO for a little over 20 years.  Has anyone every heard of the NRC holding a licensed material supplier accountable for providing a license a license source that puts the licensee over their possession limits?  The individual source and activity is below their license limits for that isotope and each individual source activity limit, but the quantity put the licensee over their total possession limit for that isotope.  This topic came up several times in the last few weeks where RSO's have reported that they are being held responsible for other RSO's exceeding their license possession limits.

The supplying RSO has no way of knowing the total quantity in inventory of the receiver.  It has always been the receiving RSO's responsibility to not exceed their license possession limits as far as I have always known.  Anyone else run into this situation recently?

Hi All,
I will probably have to cut back on some of the News for a couple of weeks or more. I will post articles from solid sources, but opinion and fringe will be out. I just had surgery to reattach a retina in one eye which amounts to putting a gas bubble in the eye, I can see the bubble slosh around as it dissolves, very annoying making reading for comprehension difficult. This would be a good time to get your feet wet posting local or opinion pieces, check out the guidelines in my "Posting" post pinned above.

the article bloggers come up the same "no clue what to do" result as the politicians...
lots of people have already forgotten what Yucca is, why it was chosen, and its shortcomings.
It still goes back to sites with used fuel getting paid big dollars to store it onsite.  If you're making good money to store it, there's no fix-incentive anywhere except FED BUDGET to save $$$.
The NIMBY thing is a big deal.  Just lease some property over the border from SE Arizona (right over the border). Put up lots of fences.  Pay for a special highway in SE Arizona.  Pay Mexico.
