Motorcyclist dies in Bledsoe crash

A man died Saturday morning after crashing his motorcycle in Bledsoe County, according to dispatchers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Stephen Litwin, 45, of Evensville, Tenn., was traveling at a high speed when he lost control of his 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle, according to the report filed by Trooper Thomas Washington.

Mr. Litwin slammed into a utility pole about 11:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Summer City Road in Bledsoe County, the trooper said.

Funeral services for Stephen will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Roger Rothwell officiating. The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Tuesday after 4:00pm. Please visit Stephen's on-line guest register at www.vanderwallfh.com.

...I just read this about Steve..worked with him inthe 80's at Oconee,,,great guy, good sense of humor,,,and a good friend,,,lost contact with him after he left the Carolina's and went home to Tennessee...Rest in Peace,brother....red
