Title: What is the best way to know when plants are going to hire?
Post by: dirtyspu on Oct 30, 2008, 02:13
I know that the plants out there hire in cycles.  What is the best way to know when each plant is going to hire?  Thanks

Just from my observations searching for a job they seem to hire after an outage. Kinda like a ship plusing up on crew before deployment.

They have a better idea of remaining budgets, and outages (especially difficult ones, seen several of those) tend to nudge those considering retirement to go fishing...

If they are in trouble,........they're hirin'

If they are retirin'..............they're hirin'

If most of the house force has medical restrictions............they're hirin'

and......if they like you.........they're.....er.....they might be hirin'
