I had my medical exam yesterday for an upcoming SGPO class. Everything was fine except that I guess I was a little nervous and my blood pressure was high. Should I be concerned? Will this keep me out?

never heard of anyone being denied for high blood pressure. just make sure you tell them what medication you are on. theres tons of ppl working out there with high blood pressure.

Per our nurse, uncontrolled BP >140 systolic will get Operators removed from the controls and securty to be relieved from duty. Never heard it being applied to anyone else.

The regulations are fairly clear and uncontrolled BP of more than 160/100 is considered disqualifying. If your numbers were that high then there is a problem. If the site has a lower number than you can blame "white coat syndrome" for your high BP which is an acknowledged disorder or decide to go on medication. If you are on medication then it has to be reported to the site and the NRC and they will issue you an amended license listing this restriction.
What about taking meds to control a fast heart rate ( which in past caused high BP)
If it can be controlled with Medication you should be ok.
Also I am rather surprtised you did not get the option to rest for about 30 minutes then retake the BP.
