As a hard-core nightshift worker, it has always been extremely hard for me to come to dayshift at the start of each outage to in-process. I recently had the WONDERFUL experience of being in-processed from noon to eight. I thought it was cool that a plant cared enough about their contractors to take care of the 50% of their workforce that will be on nights for the outage (without hurting the people on days.) I also remember one plant from the old days that gave in-processing both days & nights, but doubt if that still exists with the slim-downed staffs & budgets.
Cool! Someone said "Graves"! Where is that at?
Alas, it has always been crack of dawn for me! I would prefer evenings, but if it's 12 hour shifts, I guess nights is the way to go!
