I have been offered a interview with a plant for a QA/nuclear assurance program manager...specifically chem/radcon. I have plenty of experience with the chem/radcon side and supervising radcon jobs and chem analysis, but what are they looking for with respect to QA/nuclear assurance? I have looked on the web, but there is not much as to specifics on there as to what a job like that entails or what is expected of the employee. Any information you guys might have would help me out in my interview. Thanks in advance.

Look at USNRC website fof 10CFR50 Appendix B, Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Plants (or something like that).
Two groups associated with Management of Quality Assurance at nuke plants, Quality Assurance/Nuclear Assurance and Quality Control/Quality Verification (depends on what site your at as to what they call it).
Quality Control does the field inspections.
Quality Assurance does the oversight and auditing. Or, oversees the implementation of the QA program requirements, defined in the QA manaul, and audits various parts of the program.
Without the job description hard to tell exactly what they expect, but something along those lines I'd suspect.
