Does anyone have a contact who may be involved in training employees for the handling of Beryllium?
This doesn't need to be a 40-hour drawn out class.
A one-day class would be sufficient.
Thanks, in advance!
Not really sure if any actual training is required? I think it is more like awareness type training. I do know there is a blood test ect., then the MRO speaks to you about understanding the different effects of Beryllium and the sensitivity aspects and for answering questions you may have.
I found these sites; one is an actual website with awareness training from the DOE (Hanford Facility). One is awareness online training I think it is free, free is good!!!
Hope this helps you :)
