I propose that an annual award titled "Nukeworker of the Year" be established.

What are we looking at for criteria? ...service to the site? ...service to the industry? ...service to the community? ...a combination of the above? ...other...?

And/Or a a complex! ;D ;D ;D
The criterion for this annual award would be the consistent display of the traits that we have all admired and tried to copy, traits that set the standard in our industry.
Nominations would include a brief description of those traits and brief examples of those traits in application.
Any nukeworker can nominate, any nukeworker can be a nominee.
Forum administrators would serve as judges.
Hopefully there will be a "2011 Nukeworker of the Year" and one each year after for longer than we'll be around.
Bound to be divisive. We tried this years back with a (Nukeworker) HP Hall of Fame

HP techs...in-house and road, maintenance personell...in-house and road, reactor service contractors, traveling craft, operators, engineers, Security, Waste management..in-house and road, DOE, commercial, Navy shipboard personell, Naval Reactors Personell, Navy shipyards, Submarine Tenders, and maintenance facilities, Hospital, pharmaceutical, ACoE FUSRAP, not to mention Navy wives and parents, and I am sure I am missing a few. I am not opposed 'per se' but I see a steep hill to climb.
