Title: Rogers in for Chu?
Post by: cheme09 on Dec 14, 2012, 03:13
Looks like Jim Rogers is being considered a contender for Energy Secretary.

If that's true, he sure knows how to play his cards right.

Most likely either Lauren Azar, Jeffrey Immelt or a Least Coast politician. The big big money associated with wind and solar make the job attractive.

I've already had my eye on some January GE Calls with a strike around 25.

If you buy the idea that private sector success leads to great government leadership... why not?

He could still be sold. I would argue that being involved in a bailout company would be his biggest strike.

I think he could do worse.

I'm talking Immelt here. He's been close to the President for awhile now. Jim Rodgers is indeed, a non-starter.

What a glowing non-endorsement from the Tampa Bay Times.
