Title: U.S. court demands decision on Nevada nuclear waste project

A federal appeals court said on Tuesday that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission can no longer delay a decision on whether to issue a permit for the long-stalled nuclear waste project at Yucca Mountain in Nevada.

Last I understood, DOE contractors have been dismantling systems inside Yucca for over a year,...

It cannot be certified as is, and if forced to run the numbers to redo all that has been undone it cannot be afforded, not with a government plunging towards the 20 trillion dollars of debt mark within three years,...
