Title: NUPOC Study Material
Post by: cking5464 on Oct 24, 2013, 08:12
Hello there. My name is Chris and I'm a Junior at Missouri University of Science and Technology pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering. I'm also a NUPOC applicant set to have my phone interviews and eventually go off to DC sometime in the next couple of months. I was just wondering if there were any good study materials for the technical interviews? Just going through the study guide on the Navy website, I think my Calculus and Physics, as well as all the other stuff I have covered in classes (Material Mechanics, Statics, etc...) are definitely up to snuff, but I've heard you can be asked questions outside of your major so I wanted to kind of get a general understanding of the stuff I've never covered in school (Like more difficult circuits and chemistry). I've heard that somewhere out there there is a document that was put together by some school that essentially answers all of the questions on the study guide. A cursory search of google and the forum didn't turn anything up, so if anybody knows where I can find this specific document or has anything else that might help me study for the interviews, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks,
Chris.

Not speaking from experience, but I have been told an FE (EIT in some states) study guide works well.

Your OR should have given you a gouge pack. That's all you need.
