About the only good (if you can call it good) coming out of it is I heard Entergy is trying to keep the employees at VY in the company if they are willing to move one the plant closes.

Rates are going up all over New England.  Mine will jump about 30 - 40 percent.  No new natural gas pipeline capacity means that losing the 620 MW from VY is going to result in burning some oil and raising the price of that commodity in New England as well.
