Even with the outage season dips Nuclear is still #1. It totally makes sense to build 1000 wind turbines to produce the same amount of power as one quiet, real estate friendly Nuke Plant.

Plus the shredded eagles are great for carbon sequestration!

Nuclear plants are base units and less expensive than other base units. The swing units are up and down as power demand dictates.
