I have seen graphene discussed in terms of electronics and batteries but this was new to me. For the graphene geothermal watch 11:00 to about 18:00. I would reccomend the whole video as a very interesting piece that I liked on many levels. No idea of the timeframe or other technical issues to overcome but if we can drill oil miles under the ocean it would not seem that big a feat to feed a graphene cable miles into the earth. This could really change the energy mix if it works. Drilling for heat would have a much higher success rate than drilling for oil I suspect. ;)
