Senate Passes Pro-Nuclear Appropriations Bill
In a strong bipartisan vote, the U.S. Senate May 12 passed the $37.5 billion Energy and Water Development Appropriations bill for fiscal 2017. Approved 90-8, the measure makes a substantial investment in nuclear energy.
