Title: Jobs for two centuries in nuclear
Post by: Marlin on Sep 15, 2017, 01:00

Job-years is a new metric for me way above my pay grade. Full-time employee FTE is something closer to where the rubber meets the road for proposals and manpower projects that I am use to. With a perverse sense of humor I always imagined half a person hopping around to fill the 0.5 FTE requirements. Maybe the union halls have short people to fill these billets.  8)

Is a "job-year" something that implies someone actually performed work for an entire year or only that they were employed for a whole year?

That's the term used in the article.  Must be fresh out of college . . . or never went.
