I live here - and yeah, there is nothing stupider than the average sheeple voter in New England - they re-elect the same hacks, protest for the same failed economic and environmental policies, legislate to have anybody that makes a decent living pay for the idiots that can't spell a name correctly on your Starbucks cup.
I'm stuck here for a few years until retirement. Then my butt is moving down near the Smokies where Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is a store, not an agency ;-)

Life is good here in East Tennessee. Many of the Navy retirees in my SubVets chapter moved here to retire east of Knoxville near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Pigeon Forge. Unlike New England we built a nuclear power plant. OK it took 40 years but it did start up.
