PG&E accepts Diablo Canyon decision
http://www.world-nuclear-news.org/C-PGE-accepts-Diablo-Canyon-decision-1302187.html
"The CPUC in January approved PG&E's request to close Diablo Canyon - the only nuclear generating capacity in California - by 2025, but did not approve the company's proposals for the procurement of resources to replace Diablo Canyon's output. It also denied a request for funding for a community impact mitigation programme." (emphasis added)
A classic case of cutting off one's nose to spite their face.
Uh how?
I was referencing the apparent attitude and/or lack of planning on the part of the state and the CPUC. It wasn't a jibe at Diablo Canyon.
Since when is it their job to plan?
"by 2025, but did not approve the company's proposals for the procurement of resources to replace Diablo Canyon's output. " mite a peer the cpuc is telling it's citizens too become accustomed to freezing in the dark...
