If Nuclear Power Is So Safe, Why Are We So Afraid Of It?

The linked article only poses the question with out formulating an answer. Personally, I think the media has done an awful lot to create the environment of fear since Three Mile Island. I saw the 60 Minutes crew filming at the power plants following the TMI accident (I as at Millstone). What they put on their show was nothing like what they filmed.

Did you read all six pages? It seemed to have a good answer to the titles question. I wish they would put these on one page but I guess they get eyes on more ads this way.
