Going to Mars with 50 year-old technology!

In 1974 I worked for Hittman Nuclear & Development Corp. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hittman Associates, Inc. Another subsidiary was the Hittman Nuclear Battery Corp. which made devices remarkably similar to this for space probes.

The more things change...

You can't make me feel old... someone else already did a much better job. When I was teaching at King's Mountain for Duke Energy, I told the class that I had been working in nuclear power since 1974 and one 19ish-year-old piped up 'That was the year my daddy was born!''

Now, THAT is old. I almost beat him to death with my cane.
