I wish them the best of luck. It will be a significant amount of work to get a plant that was ran to shutdown back up to snuff.

It will never run again, Holtec knows this, it is about Holtec trying to get some money from the government to "study" if it is possible.
Sickening really, have they no shame?

Not knowing how many qualified operators remain, just getting operations up to speed to perform system lineups and refill,testing, etc. is daunting. The training program will need to be staffed,accredited, etc. prior to RCS > ambient. The head needs repairs, missed ISI's performed and the list goes on.The entire process will have an NRC oversight team in place to help things along. Great thing if it happens, it will be a rough road.

Shuttered/Fuel Removed/Paperwork Cessation/Shutdown 5/22  =  Semantics
Let them fix it, fuel it and run it.
