Seen it firsthand: waste box prices skyrocketing due to no labor and material shortages.  Labor across the board is way up due to still ongoing labor shortage. D&D business is booming and spread thin.  They can charge whatever they want. COVID for a couple of years was an extra allowable surcharge.
