I've been laughed out of other forums for asking this, but I still have my worries.
If in the pursuit of my degree I received a violation of academic integrity for the alleged use of AI in an essay for a writing course, what are the chances that disclosure of this issue on my PHQ will result in not receiving UAA?
A few important details:
- I'm not guilty. But the burden of proof was with me, not the instructor, and I failed to convince otherwise.
- This occurred about a year ago.
- It's not on my academic record, but it's probably in the bowels of the University records department somewhere.
- I do not see not disclosing this to be an option. I am only asking if someone with experience or that has been through something similar can shed some light on my chances so I can prep accordingly.
Thanks in advance.
If you don't disclose it and the university has it on file to share, you likely will be caught and it will probably end badly for you as far as gaining UA.
It's better to disclose and work through the licensees process.
