Perhaps the first write up in the realm of reality vs. finance driven delusion in Fusionville. Inclusion of support systems costs into initial estimates? Crazy concept. FDR (Fusion Derangement Syndrome) exists.

I'm not sure why the author takes this very real electrical power shortage issue to stab at nuclear fusion. The POTUS doesn't care what kind of plants are built to handle the needs. Start building coal plants again in West Virginia and put all the data centers there.
Maybe we should be asking why do the data centers have to be spread out? That sounds more like an infrastructure problem that should be addressed, but I don't believe that's an issue.  Joe Consumer's use is a very small piece of the increase.
