What is the perfect survey stencil? I've hear people say that they didn't like the stencils available. Please reply here what you would like to see in the perfect stencil/template.
If there is enough interest, I'll look into making them.
Please be very specific in your descriptions of what you would llike.
Actually, the little Bartlett templates would be a good starting point. Something that's about the same size as a site badge, so you hang it on a lanyard. Make it a little longer and narrower and leave off the useless, oversized alpha, beta, and gamma symbols.
any chance we could get them in polycarbonate or something way more durable than the current models? I know I'd buy a few!
Clear, so you can see the survey through it.
The old Green Bartlett stencils, or the new white ones?

Think outages. Contract techs don't get access to computers, and they don't have hours to write up each survey. ;)
sari, eye thought yinz boys in da big bucks show would have computers available. on visio, i kin put together a map with smear circles, dose rate numbers, different boundaries, etc. faster'n ya kin draw one. well, maybe not you, but faster'n i kin draw one. visio has pages of templates already made up, some are industrial, but none are nuclear. :o it's a great program for drawing maps of areas that are, shall we say, non-nuclear? ya kin put in really neat desks, chairs, floor plants, lamps, receptacles, etc. comes in handy when yer surveying an office area after a commercial delivery service drops a liquid source, jist fer instance.....

I was referring to the old green ones. I haven't seen the white ones yet.
