Getting out medically after 4 years in. I'm great at my job as a mechanic, and I've been placed in charge of up to 60 people for over a year. I love to work, but I've been too busy medically to find a new job. If anyone in or around San Diego can help with work, I will do anything, in any field. I really don't care anymore, I just need work to support my family. Thank you.
I know this is a dificult time. But you must have a calm approach in order to get a job that you can make into a career.
There are a couple of companies that advertise here with frequent opportunities in California.

I had similar feelings when I got out. I took a job with lower take-home than my unemployment check. That wasn't smart. Draw unemployment until you get a job paying enough to pay the bills.
Take a deep breath. If you are being medically discharged, you should have some money associated with that. Now, look up a head hunter like Orion International, Or others that deal specifically with nukes. LUCAS is another. The only reason I say that is they are looking right now. best of luck
