Apparently, a cache of oars was stumbled upon at the local beaver den. The initial payout to exit the den was either 4 oars per eight collected, or 8 oars per 12 collected. The boss beaver decided to eliminate the 4/8 offering, much to the chagrin of the remaining beavers. It seems a group of Scottish lady beavers were frolicking on dune#4 and decided that the final days' worth of oars and "diem" would be allotted. Hope this helps. Interpretation of indigenous beaver-speak was / is never easy. From gestation period and onward - the source of respired air for these personnel is located in a Zone 1 Radon area. That is a lot of dps / lifetime.

I have lived in Tennessee for 20 years and have had the opportunity to see it transition from K25 to ETTP and have done a few short jobs out there. Recently my Knoxville chapter of the United States Submarine Veterans toured the new K25 museum and Interpretive center with an overlook of the site where K25 stood.
