Interested in getting into field safety for outages

Hello all,
New poster here, I am currently employed as a safety specialist at a DOE/NNSA construction project. How does one get into field safety for outages? Any advice would be well appreciated!

I've been Safety for BHI (Sun & Nuclear) as well as CBI (Shaw S&W).
