US Election Analysis

From Scotland - an incisive analysis of the 2008 US presidential primaries

"We in Scotland cannot figure out why you are even bothering to hold
an election.'

On one side, you have a woman who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer.
She opposes a lawyer who is married to a woman who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a true war hero married to a woman with a
huge chest who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there a contest here?"

"I won't eat anything that has intelligent life, but I'd gladly eat a network executive or a politician."

                                  -Marty Feldman

"Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to understand that it bears a very close resemblance to the first."
                                  -Ronald Reagan

I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.
