Mothers day

On this Mother's Day I was thinking about all the times I was thanked for my military service. I was uncomfortable with it and started saying thank you for being a citizen worth serving for. I was not better or more important than the ones thanking me. Most veterans come from solid families so without mothers we would not have many of our sailors and soldiers to serve. Maybe today we should tell our mothers thank you for your service. I am sure you will get a big hug.
