It's been a year sense I went to boot camp, my grammer isn't any better, but the instructors get a kick out of my spelling so no worries. As for anyone that might have been homeschooled before hitting the pipe line. Don't worry i am currently in the top 1/3 of the senior power school class with no slowing down. Nothing worth having comes easy and this is no exception.

Thanks for the update, and congratulations!

Good job.

Statistically homeschoolers, on average, test higher than those students in the public and private schools. See www.hslda.org.

And as a father of nine who have been (and are) homeschooled I can testify to that statistic.  ;D

Kudos.

My son also received a Home School waiver.

Even after the interest level of the local recruiter dropped,

the regional nuc office worked with him on a waiver for home school.

persistence was required to clarify and explain getting a college degree

before completing high school,  but persistence, and a good attitude got him in.

Even a father who recommended against the Navy and an uninterested local recruiter did not dissuade him.

Character and persistence matter.

Again,  Kudos on your completion of  A school.
