Hi everyone,

I know that ISO New England is not a nuclear company but the recruiter lady said that 22 out of the 26 system operators for this company were ex navy nukes.  I thought that someone here might have some knowledge about this company that is not posted on the company website.

Thanks.

Sounds reasonable. The job is identical, and the pay is almost the same. Moving up is much harder from my understandings. I looked at fossil plants too, do you have any generic questions?

Don't forget to compare your cost of living variables as you dabble with various companies.   State taxes and Property taxes in some places....especially New England, are NOT trivial.  For example, if you make $75K in Charleston, SC, you'll have to make about $90K in Portland, ME to make up the difference in higher costs.
