Need help in finding "Type A" dry Ice packages

Can anyone please put me in touch with a vendor to buy about a 1/2 dozen to a dozen "type A" certified dry ice packages (about one cubic foot in size)?  I'm only seeking to purchase a small quantity of these.  Thanks!

I dont' know any vendors specific to nuclear... but I searched the web and here's what I found...None of them mention Type A specifically... so I'm not sure it's what you're looking for.

You didn't mention what you wanted the dry ice for (and I have no idea what "Type A" means), but . . .

I get dry ice at the local supermarket - right in front by the cashiers.  This will depend on what state you're in, but they usually have plenty (great for getting that Blue Bell ice cream home after the outage).

Your in the industry and don't know what a "Type A" container is.  I'm sorry to hear that.

A type A package must meet the design requirements for radioactive material per 49 CFR 173.465.  Not to leave out 49 CFR 178.350.    Type A packages are used for Type A quantity radioactive materials, but may also be used for LSA and Limited Quantity radioactive materials, but seldom are.   A calculation must be performed regarding the
isotope(s) and activity to see which criteria are met so you can assign a DOT category (LQ, LSA, Type A, Type B, etc.).  Once this is done, a proper shipping name is assigned and then a package is selected.  I'm seeking a few Type A dry ice packages (1-2 cubic ft. in size) for someone.  They must be certified "Type A" packages.  Any help would be appreciated.  I figured that this probably would be a shot in the dark on this board, but what the heck eh.  :-/
