been kinda curious as to what the avg. pay is for a nso that's been working for the same company for a few yrs. I believe that we were lied to as to what the avg is. ours at the company training is a lil over 11.00 and topped is near 21.00...not to mention how long it will take ya to get there either which really sucks

A quick search didn't turn up much in the forums. (I had previously posted the threads, as I missed the NSO being security)

Most of the threads were for Ops or RP/HP.

If I recall at my site, Security is ~$11-14 to start, top out just over $20-24

Security is about the lowest paying job on site. Some have left security to be janitors - better hours, more OT, less hassle....

Odd, at my site, security is unioned, and they start at around 22$ and end at around 30.

Correct. Just stating they were paying much less across the board, not just for NSO. The union contract for nso pay rate at riverbend is available online.
