I have done, or am in the process of doing, everything they have asked me to do. I completed four counseling sessions and a class, and the EAP case manager reported to my company that I had completed the requirements of the mandatory referral. Then the company made me sign a release for the company MRO to speak with the EAP doctor about my case, and after they talked, the EAP changed the requirements to include 12 additional counseling sessions (which are not covered by the EAP so I have to pay for them myself). I will complete the 12th of these sessions next week, and then the MRO will again review my case, at which time he may decide to have the EAP add more requirements. I have been out for 7 weeks and I don't know how much longer they will string this out. I would like to use my time off to apply for other jobs, but I would hate to ruin my chances by applying now if I am going to be automatically rejected because of the status of my UA.
