While this might seem an elementary question, I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I could look at the different job opportunities for Navy Nuke Officers post Navy career.

Thanks,

Jacob.

Thanks,

Question is too vague.

I personally think you're starting at a great spot by coming here!   ;)

I guess a good question would be what are you interested in doing post Navy?

I'm not really sure what there is to do!  I have been trying to do some research online, but there are so many different options I don't even know where to start.  I would like to work in Nuclear Energy, ranging from a reactor to any kind of research and development.  Right now I am working on a BA in Nuclear Engineering.

Upload your resume on this site, most recruiters do keyword searches when looking for bodies to fill positions.  If you're persuing a nuke degree, can your university career counseling center help?  Do you live near a cluster of nuke plants, national labs, shipyards (Bremerton, Norfolk Navy, Groton)?

Good Luck,

There is a poll going on over at the Nuke School Alumni page on LinkedIn that is running about 30/70 of those people still working in the Nuke field. This tracks pretty well with a previous poll done asking what was your first job after separating from the Nav which ran 25/75 nuke/non-nuke.

Good luck in what ever direction you decide to go.
